What will your day look like?

You will serve as an internal strategic business partner that supports/facilitates the development of culture and key capabilities for the organization and is responsible for securing and maintaining a productive, diverse, and engaged workforce, comprised of the best talent. This is a highly visible role serving as a consultant to various functions with primary responsibility for integration, development, motivation and retention of employees. This will play an important role in achieving the Human Capital strategy through their ability to align people with business strategy and support and manage change. In partnership with the Manager of HCG Operations and other HC Business Partners, this role drives and deploys integrated talent management, employee development, compensation, performance management, organization transformation and workplace strategies.


Do you see yourself doing this?

  • Anticipate and facilitate the identification of key business change and the implementation of those changes to achieve the desired end state as a business.
  • Analyze how change can be supported and sustained through redesigned Human Capital strategies, programs, practices and processes.
  • Partner with leaders to develop talent and performance management improvement strategies that optimize the talent, strengths and engagement of our human capital assets
  • Serve as a primary partner and consultant to leaders and employees on all employee relations issues
  • Effectively balance employee and Credit Union interests to manage risks and create a positive employee relations environment
  • Build leadership capability through facilitative partnerships and educational investments surrounding effective performance management and learning and development theory
  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring a consistent approach across the organization that emphasizes individual development and regular and dynamic coaching and feedback
  • Facilitate compensation processes including; merit, sales incentive compensation, and market data analysis
  • Works with talent management and talent acquisition to leverage integrated people strategies; enabling the attraction, development, and retention of top talent



What makes you a great fit?

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required and a minimum of 6+ years of experience in employee relations and performance management, you have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in consulting as a business partner
  • Influential coaching and consulting skills
