What will your day look like?

You will be responsible for managing the daily operations within the Consumer Loan processing and funding areas. You will coordinate the daily workflow of member loans through the CLOS/Symitar, indirect lending portals, and the proper fulfillment processes. Responsibilities will also include providing direction to team members on work priorities and on resolving operational issues. Resources to do the job require knowledge of Alliant’s consumer loan policies and procedures, as well as, hands on knowledge of the functionality and roles in the CLOS.

  • Ensuring that all critical daily tasks of the loan processing and funding roles are completed timely and accurately, in accordance with Alliant policies and procedures
  • Testing software releases affecting consumer loan processing and funding
  • Assisting team members with daily tasks as needed at times of high volume
  • Having knowledge of income verifications and calculations, collateral valuations, clearing Fraud/OFAC alerts, credit bureau issues, membership identification validations, and opening new Alliant memberships in preparation for loan funding
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for loan processing for direct and indirect loans
  • Overseeing the daily operations and tasks required of the loan funding position
  • Coaching, counseling, training and developing employees
  • Applying great management practices in leading an engaged team to effectively deliver the value of this function

Qualifications

What makes you a great place?

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field, 1-2 years of experience leading, managing and developing in a leadership role, you have:

  • Three years of functional knowledge of loan processing and funding in a credit union or bank setting
  • Familiarity with electronic fund transfers including ACH and wire transfers
  • Experience handling escalated customer service issues is required
  • Knowledge and experience in of automated consumer lending systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
