What will your day look like?

You will be responsible for developing clear, concise and persuasive content and marketing for digital and traditional mediums. You will also edit content ensuring consistent application of style and information across all channels. You will help define our brand by embodying friendly, smart and personalized service via our content.

Daily duties involve writing compelling copy for membership penetration, as well as for B2C and B2B marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will develop writing user guides, help content and tutorials for mobile and online banking; member communication and acquisition emails; engaging and informative blog posts; and other internal marketing communications.

 

Work involves moderate difficulty in managing multiple, simultaneous or complex projects with varying deadlines in a team environment while ensuring the timely development, effective and legally compliant marketing. You will also be able to use data and strategic thinking to improve member retention in addition to new member acquisition.

 

Responsibilities

Do you see yourself doing this?

  • Developing innovative concepts, writing compelling copy and following-through to final delivery on a wide variety of B2C, B2B and employee/internal marketing across a wide array of media
  • Developing communications that tell a story and/or change behavior across multiple channels and tactics from print, digital, video, events, and more
  • Writing website content and assisting in search engine optimization efforts
  • Researching, fact-check and proofreading for spelling, grammar and consistency of positioning
  • Being responsible for helping maintain consistency of message and corporate brand across channels and products
  • Collaborating with internal clients to bring projects to timely completion. Re-packaging of pre-existing or externally sourced content will be required
  • Writing blog post and other value-add content that informs, teaches, and inspires members
  • Assisting in crafting testimonials and customer satisfaction stories through member interviews and user-generated content
  • Proactively staying up-to-date on trends in development and digital design as well as the financial services industry
  • Maintaining technical documentation, including user guides, online help and product training materials, for online banking and mobile banking
  • Working with Product Managers to understand the product roadmap to be prepared for creating and updating content
  • Assisting in the development of journey maps to communicate and extend the relationship with existing members

Qualifications

What makes you a great fit?

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a BA/BS degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and copy development, you have/are:

  • Experience in transforming concepts into clear, concise written communications without losing key messages
  • Comfortable learning new technology
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Highly developed writing skills for print and digital media (required) 
  • The ability to grasp and then translate complex concepts into understandable and exciting, essential prose written in plain-English
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work well in teams
  • Attention to detail and the ability to be self-directed
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and make sound independent decisions
