What will your day look like?

You will be responsible for demonstration with high proficiency, complex operational tasks and projects related to critical functions within Member Payment Operations. Additionally, the Senior Member Payment Representative functions as Subject Matter Expert for the functions of the department. The Senior Member Payment Representative must serve as primary contact and customer service representative for the department.

Responsibilities

Do you see yourself doing this?

  • Processes incoming/outgoing domestic and international wires in a timely manner following strict procedures
  • Ensures ACH posting is balanced daily and returns are sent in a timely manner
  • Ensures ACH originations are set up correctly for loan payments or any other type of originations
  • Process and research Unauthorized ACH claims         , returns and non-posted items
  • Review processes and adjust member’s accounts for share draft clearing discrepancies, incoming adjustments and disputes
  • Reverses payments and deposits to balance the return cash letter daily
  • Process and review mobile deposits ensuring check validity and adhering to Alliant’s policy
  • Reviews and replies to daily emails and phone inquires
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies

 

 

Qualifications

What makes you a great fit?

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, 3-5 years in ACH/check processing; or an equivalent combination of training and experience, extensive experience with ACH and wires required, and you have:

  • Intermediate skills in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of basic accounting methods
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills both written and verbal
