The Sr. Solutions Architect will be responsible for the solutions architecture of existing and new systems, creates high-level architectural specifications, and ensure feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms and third-party systems. Ensure alignments of project-specific design with application architecture roadmap. Support project and/or product teams on functional and technical design activities, and define the interaction between application packages, database, and middleware systems to optimize product functional coverage. Act as subject matter expert (SME) for products that require integration into the application. Review and design digital products, and identify and determine technologies that will enhance the development of products and services. Participate in strategic and tactical planning and design sessions with product management, application management, other discipline architects, and operations and software engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Integration strategy of core systems that interface with Digital (API frameworks, etc.).
  • Design and create new application design patterns using Microsoft Stack as well as other open-source solutions where applicable.
  • Define Mobile software solutions in the Android/iOS application environments.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver software solutions that deliver business value. Identify risks and anticipate issues and guide teams through complex situations.
  • Analyze relevant information and prepare recommendations to guide teams in building high-quality solutions.
  • Lead-level designs and prototyping initiatives for web and mobile platforms.
  • Establish and enforce team best practices, policies and procedures. Ensure development practices are in compliance.
  • Assess and improve on current architectures, especially in scaling and performance.
  • Provide guidance and training to other credit union employees to assist in applicable requirements and administration of policy and procedures for web and mobile applications.

Education:
  • Bachelors Degree - Business, Technology or related - Minimum
 
Years of Experience:
  • 5 Years - Application/product design, application development platforms, solution architecture or related - Minimum
 
In Lieu of Education:
  • 8 years - Application/product design, application development platforms, solution architecture or related
