In this role, you will lead Alliant's enterprise risk management (ERM) program, including lead oversight of risk assessments, risk acceptances, and other risk treatment activities and frameworks. Responsible to lead key ERM risk analysis, insights and risk governance reporting for the entire Alliant enterprise. Ensure Alliant maintains a comprehensive, impactful and prudent risk-based ERM Program that is commensurate to the size and complexity of Alliant.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis, development, implementation and maintenance of global ERM Risk frameworks.
  • Build, maintain, and lead enterprise-wide risk assessment methodology and program. Create and maintain a robust methodology and ensure proper policy and procedure documentation.
  • Lead risk analysis initiatives as part of overall support of ERM program.
  • Lead and manage the annual ERM risk assessment activities across all Alliant. Lead business area engagements, synthesize data, and provide insightful takeaways.
  • Lead enterprise-wide risk acceptance program by creating and maintaining a prudent methodology and provide feedback by addressing risks.
  • Lead enterprise-wide ERM risk and governance reporting, such as synthesizing enterprise-wide risk data and leading coordinated cross-functional efforts to address Alliant's risk posture and activities.
  • Monitor and report-out enterprise-wide adherence to applicable ERM metrics (e.g., risk appetites and concentration risks).
  • Act as a primary thought leader and point of contact for ERM team's engagement with Alliant business areas.
  • Act as both a trusted risk advisor and provide knowledgeable leadership for ERM matters and other complex matters.
  • Collaborate and provide leadership with three lines of defense through project work, proactive outreaches, reactive participation and provide leadership and liaison for ERM.

 

Education:
  • High School or Equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree - Risk Management, Business Operations, Finance or Related - Preferred
 
Years of Experience:
  •  7 years - Enterprise risk management, audit, compliance, or related - Minimum
