In this role, you will own and create assigned digital product roadmaps and deliver improved functionality and user experience in online banking and mobile platforms to achieve key performance indicators, key business outcomes and financial objectives. Partner with management to develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for member facing products. Act as point development team and manage backlogs, open defects, develop user stories and acceptance criteria as well as communicate to internal stakeholders and frontline associates. Track assigned products' performance through reports and interactions with other teams such as the data and analytics team. Interpret the data and make plans or adjustments to plans to influence assigned products’ performance in favorable directions. Implement enterprise initiatives in the online banking and mobile channels. Interface with multiple areas of the business to collect, clarify, and translate business needs into a clear end-product vision as well as collaborate with multiple stakeholders in sprints and delivery lifecycle to continually iterate and enhance the vision.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor partner technology roadmaps and industry trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions
  • Monitor and evaluate digital performance metrics and proactively champion product improvements
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria for digital feature enhancements, serving as the liaison between development teams and the business partners
  • Translate and communicate enhancement requirements into stories and present requirements to the appropriate team
  • Create and maintain clear acceptance criteria for user stories
  • Participate in standup scrums, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as well as prioritize sprint work for the team and provide final approval of work
  • Participate in testing for quality assurance and user acceptance
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders on enhancement and fix requests, managing expectations and timelines.
  • Drive projects and general progress towards the completion of requirements and implementation
  • Monitor threats, risk and opportunities that might affect the success of projects and communicate them
  • Ensure alignment and adherence to corporate, financial and IT standards (e.g., architecture, compliance, security)
  • Partner with other teams such as marketing to increase adoption and consumption of product capabilities
  • Manage investment decisions and finances for digital products, taking a return-on-investment approach to increasing the value while minimizing digital-product costs
  • Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the products to measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy

Education:
  • Bacheolors Degree - Marketing, Business, eCommerce, Technology, Mathematics or Related - Minimum
  • Graduate Degree - Technology, Mathematics or Related - Preferred
 
Years of Experience:
  • 3 years - Consumer-facing Technology, Websites/Platforms, eCommerce, Mobile apps, Digital Products or Related - Minimum
  • 5 years - Product Owner, Consumer Software Products and Services, or Related within a Financial Environment - Preferred
 
In Lieu of Education:
  • 8 Years  - Consumer-facing Technology, Websites/Platforms, eCommerce, Mobile apps, Digital Products within an Agile Environment

 

License/Certifications/Training:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) - Preferred
