Consumer Loan Funder - Hybrid

In this role, you will support loan products by sending loan documents for signature and funding direct consumer and home equity loans. Review and audit loan closing documents to ensure they are correct and fully executed. Final contact with the member to ensure an excellent member experience and direct consumer and home equity loan closing activities to the member for signature following credit union policy and compliance with loan procedures.

• Send the loan documents for online signature and loan documents for wet signature and ends documents via electronic signature for Gap Modification agreements
• Review and audit the loan closing documents to ensure they are correct and fully executed and update the system as needed for each funded loan
• Set up automatic payments and process loan check reissues
• Fund direct loans according to policy and within the regulatory guidelines by verifying that documents are executed properly and are complete
• Prepare checks/advances for disbursements and assists with the wire transfer and funding of consumer and home equity loans
• Ensure delivery of member correspondence regarding loan and payment set-up, complete subordination requests for applicable real estate loans and documents transactions in the core loan system
• Work with other team members in answering inquiries and conducting research
• Remain current on industry trends and implement best practices that result in improved performance

Education:

• Hight school or equivalent - Minimum
• Bachelors Degree - Business, Finance or Related - Preferred

Years of Experience:

• 1 year of closing, processing, customer service or related - Minimum
