The Principal Product Manager- Money Movement is an individual contributor responsible for leading the development and management of our Money Movement product portfolio, including but not limited to Zelle, Fed Now, and Real Time Payments. This role involves partnering with business and technology leads to drive product strategy, development, and execution, with a strong focus on managing the health of these processes, implementing strategic improvements, and mitigating risks. This person should be a strategic thinker who builds relationships, maximizes cross-functional collaboration, and analyzes data trends, always focused on optimizing and producing results. This individual will be dedicated to delivering outstanding member experiences and optimizing the value they derive from Alliant.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the effective execution of money movement roadmaps to support the development of new products and features which drive business growth objectives. Understand P&L profitability and key performance metrics to ensure that the delivery of features and functionality remains in alignment with business goals.
  • Responsible for the performance of product solutions such as member experience, growth, ROI, risk, fraud, disputes, and utilization/engagement.
  • Understand, interpret, and convey the strategy for the products. Ensure that the delivery of new features and enhancements support the intended strategic direction. Build awareness and educate across the enterprise about the goals and objectives of new money movement strategies.
  • Advocate for new or updated features and functionalities and translate approved product specifications into functional requirements. Continuously monitor and seek feedback from business partners to identify opportunities for improvement in execution strategy, balancing product accessibility, delivery, performance, and profitability.
  • Bring the members viewpoint to the product design process with a demonstrated competency to actively listen to member feedback across all touchpoints and channels; leverage this feedback into insights; and build products and services that delight and inspire.
  • Monitor trends and best practices as the industry landscape evolves. Stay abreast of competitor activities, including product offerings, enhanced features, and new functionality, with an emphasis on upcoming trends and potential impacts.
  • Ensure effective oversight by regulatory, legal, compliance, business governance, audit, change, and quality management while meeting the needs and demands of our members. Adhere to all product policies and procedures. Understand the company's risk management appetite and leverage this framework when developing product strategies and tactics.

 

Education:
  • Bachelors Degree - Business, Marketing, Technology or Related - Minimum
 
Years of Experience:
  • 10 Years - Product management, payments, marketing, banking, sales experience or related - Minimum
 
In Lieu of Education:
  • 12 years - Product management, payments, marketing, banking, sales experience or related

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Typical hiring range:‏‏‎ ‎$113,000‏‏‎ ‎-‏‏‎ ‎$159,550 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
