In this role, you will be provide consultative sales, service and support to members. Evaluate and identify the member’s financial needs and originating new accounts, taking applications for and originating loans as well as cross-selling lending ancillary products, processing financial transactions on member’s accounts, resolving member issues, or making targeted referrals to internal business partners that result in deeper relationships, high levels of member satisfaction, and increased sales. Subject matter specialist to other teammates. Handle complex high volume of calls and member loan applications through the member care center and other application channels; including internet, other partners, or outbound calling. 

Responsibilities

  • Originate consumer and home equity loan applications to meet sales targets and also individual member satisfaction targets within the department.
  • Identify and evaluate members’ financial needs and recommend the appropriate product solutions and services such as insurance, mortgage and investment products using needs-based sales techniques.
  • Process financial transactions on member’s accounts and offers additional loan and collateral protection products as appropriate including but not limited to GAP, MRC and debt cancellation and offers origin deposit products and new memberships.
  • Decision fee-refunds within defined relationship parameters.
  • Identify opportunities to increase service quality, resolves complex member concerns and escalate high-level member issues and concerns to appropriate internal business partners.
  • Serve as subject matter specialist for other team members, providing knowledge, support and guidance on products, processes and services and handling and resolving call escalations within the call center and participating in the training of new employees.

Education:
  • High School or Equivalent - Minimum
  • Bachelors Degree Business - Business, Finance, or Related - Preferred
  
Years of Experience:
  • 1 year -  Sales, retail, financial services, insurance or automobile finance or related - Minimum
 
License/Certifications/Training:
  • Required: Illinois P&C License within 60 days of hire
  • Required: NMLS registration within 30 days
 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

Typical hiring range:‏‏‎ ‎$48,000 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
