The Sr. Software Engineer will design, development and implement assigned application development projects. Work on moderate to difficult multiple projects concurrently by using technical knowledge in assigned area NET and structured programming concepts, architecture and process enhancement.
The Sr. Systems Engineer will design and plan assigned system projects while also providing technical support. Understand assigned platforms and current technology as well as acts as an expert in assigned systems such as Windows Servers, Activate Directory, VMWare, Cisco UCS, Backup systems, DNS, SAN Technologies, and Hyper Converged Systems.
What will your day look like?
The Enterprise Architect catalogs, develops, coordinates, communicates, maintains, and enforces the overall Enterprise Architecture Models, Representations, Initiatives, Capabilities, and Standard Components used by the Enterprise to perform all business and technology related activities. You will be responsible for setting the direction and establishing the approach for integrating information applications and programs. Activities will include:
- Architecting for cross-program, and cross-project Architecture strategies, opportunities, and problem resolution
- Architecting for complex application development and integration projects
- Consulting in business process analysis and design, and service delivery, particularly with respect to the use of information, and trends and directions
Project “Auditor” to ensure conformance and compliance of projects and programs with Architect guidelines. Essentially the “voice of the customer” during development activities.
What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for the technical designs and development of digital platforms supporting business applications, systems integrations, cloud services, databases, reporting, or business analytics as required to deliver new business functionality supporting corporate business objectives. The incumbent will solve complex technical problems and guide team in implementation of full .Net stack as well as solutions built on different platforms and technologies requiring one or more of the following: front-end (user interfaces), back-end (APIs), database and DevOps development. The incumbent will possess a holistic view of all products and their interactions to design complex solutions and plan for how new products/features fit into the larger ecosystem. Work requires strategic and analytical thinking, attention to detail and effective oral and written communication skills. General direction is received from Manager, Software Engineering.
What will your day look like?
You will be a member of the Service Desk department that serves as the first point of contact for all technology relates issues and requests. Majority of the work involves heavy phone support (on-site and remote) with a rotational on-call after hours support. Other method of contact we support also includes email and walk-ups. Resources to do the job require reliance on technical knowledge of computer systems and credit union policy. General supervision is received from the Manager, Service Desk and Manager, Desktop Engineering. Please be aware the schedule for this role is Wednesday - Friday 11:30 AM - 8 PM, Saturday-Sunday 9:30 AM - 6 PM.
